Purpose and Rationale
In line with 2025 being the “Year of the Family,” this competition aims to emphasize the importance of family. It seeks to:

  • Uncover students’ talents
  • Enhance artistic perspectives and aesthetic awareness
  • Increase interest in painting
  • Support a culture of competition in education
  • Raise awareness on the theme of family

Application & Participation Rules

  • Open to students of Maarif Schools.
  • Each participant may submit up to 3 artworks.
  • Applications must be submitted via the online form at www.eyesofmaarif.com.
  • Participants must provide complete personal information.
  • Works previously submitted to other competitions or awarded elsewhere will not be accepted.
  • Submissions must be original and unaltered.
  • For artworks featuring human portraits, parental/subject consent is required.
  • Copyrights will be shared with the Türkiye Maarif Foundation.

Technical Requirements

  • Technique: Free (gouache, watercolor, pastel, acrylic, mixed media, etc.)
  • Size: Recommended A3 (29.7 × 42 cm)
  • Surface: Drawing paper/canvas
  • Digital Upload: JPEG/PNG format, minimum 300 dpi, 1920×1080 pixels or higher
  • Originality: Must not have been previously published or submitted
  • Evaluation Criteria:
    • Relevance to the theme
    • Creativity and originality
    • Technical proficiency
    • Composition and expressiveness
    • Overall presentation

Awards

  • 1st Prize: Tablet
  • 2nd Prize: Camera
  • 3rd Prize: Headphones
  • Honorable Mentions: Corporate gifts and art materials
  • Selected works will be exhibited and published in a catalog.

Ethics and Copyright

  • Parental consent form is mandatory.
  • Personal data will be protected under KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law).
  • Türkiye Maarif Foundation reserves the right to exhibit and publish the artworks.

Jury Members
A panel of experienced professionals in art, design, and education will evaluate the submissions.
